At most attractions, the queue is an important part of the
story. Universal has made almost all of the queues accessible to manual
wheelchairs (with the exception of Pteranodon Flyers at Universal’s Islands
of Adventure (IOA) and Back to the Future the Ride® at the Studios (USO)).
None of the ride vehicles or attraction
queues at Universal Orlando will accommodate Electric Convenience Vehicles (ECV’s)
or electric wheelchairs. There are manual wheelchairs at each
attraction for you to transfer to.
If you can transfer to the ride vehicle’s seating (either
solo or with another person in your party) you may transfer. Certain
attractions are equipped to allow you to remain in the standard wheelchair:
At Islands of Adventure:
One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish
The Cat in the Hat
Caro-Seuss-el
If I Ran the Zoo
Poseidon’s Fury
The Eighth Voyage of Sindbad

attractions, specific vehicles have been designed to accommodate those
transferring from their wheelchair:

Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges
JurassicPark River Adventure
Flying Unicorn
Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls
