Just like any other devices/modifications, what works well for one person may
be totally inaccessible to someone with a different disability. We have put
together information we have found and experienced. From here you can use
educated guesses on what will work for you.

Resort Specific
Information
Beach Club/ Yacht Club - Stormalong Bay
Stormalong Bay has 'bump' steps, there is no zero-depth entry area and there is
no water wheelchair. The steps are located near the entry to the pool by Beaches
and Cream. They consist of a series of steps starting at the pool edge and
rising up to a platform at wheelchair seat level. Someone with strong upper body
strength would be able to bounce themselves in and then out of the water one
step at a time. Upon leaving the pool, you would "bump" up to the steps to the
platform then make a side transfer to a wheelchair. You would need pretty good
upper body strength and balance.
Saratoga Springs Resort
SSR is a zero entry pool and also has a moveable lift. It is only a bit about 5
feet deep at the deepest point in the middle of the pool. The 5 foot deep part
is fairly small and most of the pool is shallow. Also SSR can move the lift to
one of the awesome hot tubs, so if you like to soak in a hot tub, then no
problem! If you need the lify, notify one of the lifeguards.
